GREAT TRIPS: THE FIRST WORLD TOUR

The first world tour was leaded by Fernando de Magallanes and after his death, by Juan Sebastián Elcano.

They left from Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Spain) the 20th of September, 1519 and they came back the 6th of september, 1522.

Fernando de Magallanes was an important person because he did the first world tour in the history.
During the challenge, a lot of people died and just 82 people survived.

This tour was made by boat following this route.
